Seward to Anchorage Direct Transfer

Along the Seward Highway

We’ll then take you by the most scenic route – the Seward Highway. You saw the natural wonders offered by the sea, now you’ll get to see the wilderness up close on land as you drive through Moose Pass, an adorable hamlet of 219 residence according to the last census. And you will drive by the Turnagain Arm, where moose, dall sheep, and beluga whales often put on a spectacular show.

Throughout the ride, you’ll have guides to give you a full narrated tour. You’ll learn all about the local history of the places you pass, along with facts about the passing wilderness that any naturalist would enjoy.

Turnagain Arm

The route will take you through the incredible Kenai Mountains-Turnagain Arm National Heritage area, which is known for its beauty and its historical and cultural offerings from all of the various peoples who have lived here over the centuries. You will hear incredible stories of how the Indigenous communities overcame hardships to settle in this cold and forbidding wilderness. Exciting stories of Russian fur traders and American gold prospectors taming the land as they sought their fortunes from it’s rich resources. Hear stories of the struggles between these groups as they all worked to find a way to live together in extreme conditions.

If you prefer nature to history, you won’t be disappointed either! The ride to Anchorage will take you through some of the most beautiful and dramatic wilderness in the country. You’ll pass between the incredible shorelines of Turnagain Arm. This waterway is one of the branches at the end of Cook Inlet that empties into the Gulf of Alaska. It is a place to witness first hand the extremes of nature – with radical shifts in climate and the second highest tide in all of North America! You’ll cruise through the towering peaks of the Chugach Mountains. This mountain range is rugged and beautiful with peaks reaching 3,000 feet into the clear Alaska sky. This scenic trip will give you the opportunity to see everything from moose to whales as you enjoy your relaxing trip back to Anchorage.

Anchorage Arrival

Once you arrive in Anchorage we’ll drop you off right at the Ted Steven’s Airport, or, if you’re planning to enjoy a longer stay, we’re happy to take you right to your hotel – just make sure you arrange it with us ahead of time! Otherwise, you can always get off at the airport and take a shuttle to your hotel.

This amazing bus trip, passing by the ocean and through the mountains, is a unique opportunity to see Alaska up close and personal. All while in the incredible comfort of a full sized coach with all trimmings. You’ll have your own DVD player, air conditioning and heating, large tinted picture-view windows, roomy individual seats with space to stretch your legs, a bathroom, and a luggage compartment so you’re not having to struggle with your bags on the way.
